Top weird things about Japan

There are many things about Japan that can't be explained. The country is steeped in weird tradition and strange ancient practices that have one way or another translated to modern day today. To love Japan isn't to understand it, to be grateful for it for all the composite, strange, and magnificent things that to without asking too many questions. The Oldest hotel still exists in Japan with the name Nishiyama Onsen Keiunkan is a hot spring hotel in Hayakawa,Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan which was founded in 705 AD,  and one of the oldest companies in operation till now. The hotel was officially recognised by the Guinness World Records in 2011 as the oldest hotel in the world. Which has been operated by 52 generation still now. Also, one of the most curious building in Japan is the Gate Tower Building in Osaka, Japan. The 5th, 6th and 7th floors of this 16-story office building are occupied by an amazing express highway - passing right through the building. The Gate Tower Building is in fact the outcome of strange compromise between the land owner and the Japanese government.
