About BHAJA CAVES

Bhaja Caves or Bhaje caverns are a gathering of 22 shake slice hollows going back to the second century BC. The holes are 400 feet over the town of Bhaja on an antiquated exchange course, which stretches out from the eastern side of the Arabian Sea towards the Deccan. The Bhaja Caves are like the Karla Caves in style and structural plans. The most conspicuous among the unearthings is the chaityagriha. The chaityagriha is thought to be the most punctual of its kind. It comprises of a huge apsidal lobby and is isolated into a focal nave and side walkways by 27 columns. The roof of the nave is vaulted and unique wooden bars are settled. Chaitya contains stupa at its far end with an opening in the best for wooden umbrella.
